Dance - School groups and Individuals

Massed Primary Dance

The massed primary dance is a large element of the show where many students take the stage to participate in an item of movement. This item is supported by the Senior Concert Band and the Feature Artist Ensemble.Student from years 4 to 6 are encouraged to participate.

This year the dance has been choreographed by students from the Talented Dance Program at Erindale College.

This item is supported by an induction afternoon tea on the 19 May from 3.30- 5pm at Erindale College.

Teachers will come together to learn the dance, meet the choreographers and to be inducted into the choreography teaching videos which they can use with their students. Teachers will work with their students to learn the dance, and through out the process will be visited by the choreographers. Schools will also attend a half day massed rehearsal before the performance.
If you would like to volunteer your school at the massed rehearsals site please get in contact with us by emailing: Limelight@ed.act.edu.au
