ACT Schools Band Festival

 

Dates for 2008 are from Tuesday 9th September to Friday 12th September. That is, in Week 8 of Term 3.

Entries can only be mailed as they need to be accompanied by a deposit. Emailed entries can be received with a Credit Card payment authority giving amount of payment, card type, card number, expiry date and the full name on the card. Emailing such information does have risks - consider your options carefully! Cheques made payable to Instrumental Music Program.

There will be people working with you to assist and evaluate your performance. For the first time, a list of characteristics of a good band performance will be used to evaluate your presentation. You can find that list here. You might like to copy it for your students so they can make their own evaluations for discussion later.
