Events
The Instrumental Music Program manages some events during the course of the year.
BANDSTRAVAGANZA is our end of year “graduation” concert for our Year 6 students. It is held over two nights at Canberra's most salubrious performance venue - the ANU School of Music. This gives the performance a gravitas and dignity to make it a really special night. Parents and other family members fill the venue on both nights, and additional performances are provided by our System Bands. This allows parents to see what the potential and direction is for their youngsters.
Dates for 2008 - Tuesday November 25 and Wednesday November 26, 2008.
WINTER WINDS is a mid winter concert that is presented in Erindale Theatre by the ACT Junior Concert Band and the ACT Senior Concert Band. It has been held this year (in Autumn) - see you in 2009.
The ACT School Band Festival is a 4-day non-competitive event open to any school from any sector - primary, or secondary, public or private, ACT or interstate - held during mid-September. Please go to the link for all of the details and the entry forms.
